Joy has a reputation for being a path carver and visionary. She has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, TIME, Money, The New York Times, U.S. News & World Report, and Psychology Today among many other.
She is a popular keynote speaker and has been interviewed on The TODAY Show, Good Morning America, NPR, and more. Critics hail her book as "illuminating, eye-opeing, and required reading for everyone over 40." VIsit her website at www.elderindustry.com.
Sharon is originally from Saratoga, CA. She graduated from San Francisco Theological Seminary in 2012/2013, during which time she was a chaplain for two years.
Sharon went to seminary to study God's word and explore, with God's leading, how she could help those who are challenged with mental illness. She has written a devotional book using the Psalms. Sharon believes wholeheartedly in the power of prayer to change lives.
Protima is Director of the Office of Women's Policy of Santa Clara County which promotes gender equity. As part of the Race Equity Steering team, she helps provide organizational assessment tools to all county departments.
Previously she was the Managing Attorney and Regional Cousel for Immigration at Bay Area Legal Aid. In 2017, she won a precedent-setting California Immigration and family law case, Kumar v. Kumar. Nationally, she served on the ABA Commission on Domestic and Sexual Violence.
